"It has been over a month since the devastating fires that tore through the Slave Lake region. The community is starting to rebuild and the Fire Department that stayed to fight is also trying to get
their operations back to working order.
Unfortunately, for the department, the fight was not without loss. Hall #2 in Widewater burnt
down, an emergency response vehicle was destroyed and many key pieces of equipment were damaged beyond repair.
Part of the Slave Lake Fire Fighter's Society's fundraising campaign includes the T-Shirts sold on this site. They are the same shirts worn by the brave firefighters who risked their lives to fight the wall of flames that destroyed
many of the homes and businesses in our community.
All Proceeds from the sales of these T-Shirts will go directly towards replacing critical equipment the Lesser Slave Lake Regional Fire Service needs to continue to protect the residents in Slave Lake and its surrounding district."
